Before making her mark in the United States in 2010, Rovena spent five years perfecting her craft as a cosmetologist in her native Albania. Upon arriving in the States, she dove straight into her passion, apprenticing under the talented Andrea LaFera, the owner and head stylist of A. LaFera Salon. Rovena’s love for hairdressing began early, inspired by the magic of her mother’s wedding hair creations. She found a deep fulfillment in being part of a bride’s unforgettable day.

Today, Rovena stands as A. LaFera’s resident expert in color and styling, known for her precision and creativity. She is also a certified Kevin Murphy colorist and a specialist in Keratin Smoothers and Brazilian Blowouts. Rovena’s true passion lies in giving clients transformative color that not only refreshes their look but also boosts their confidence.

When asked why she chose this career, Rovena shared, “I truly love coming to work at the salon every day. It’s incredibly important for me to lift others up and help them look as beautiful on the outside as they are on the inside.”

Rovena, a stylist with a keen sense of fashion, finds fulfillment in both the active and relaxing parts of life. She loves to travel, constantly seeking new destinations that inspire her creativity and offer fresh perspectives. Exercise is an essential part of her routine, keeping her energized and centered as she balances her busy career. When she’s winding down, you’ll often find her watching Friends on Netflix, a comforting escape that never fails to bring a smile to her face. A good cup of coffee is her go-to companion, whether she’s starting her day or catching up with friends. Rovena is also a big fan of Mediterranean cuisine, savoring the vibrant flavors and healthy dishes that transport her to distant shores with each bite. Her life is a perfect mix of exploration, health, and moments of pure joy.
